How many swing voters will choose Obama on the strength of this performance alone? Scoring high on playfulness, ability to engage and emotional intelligence: fully participating but never losing his integrity. Is it smug? Possibly. Or is it just a display of his easy capacity to operate at this level? Obama is not Martin Luther King, impassioned, angry. He meets the US public on different, less threatening terms, speaking to their dreams rather than to their fears. Let's see who that US public is on November 4th.
