What do you do, mostly?: I run imediate.org which uses my skills and experience as a former diplomat, media expert, writer, and communications strategist to resolve conflict on a local and global scale

What matters most in the world?: preventing anger and greed turning into violence against others

Do you have a project you are working on at the moment? If not, what would your dream project be?: to make peace popular (I'm working on it!)

If you could start a new government department, what would it be?: Ministry for Peace

What would you like from this site?: to pool resources and ideas with likeminded people, but with some mechanism for practical application

I directed Conflict and Peace Forums for 10 years and saw how difficult it is to use the word peace in a pro-active way - which is why I turned to this. You'll see from the media articles blogged here, that - after lying low for 20 years - it is now a fast growing interest, mostly due to Obama. Am developing a soft power training right now and applying it in The Downing Street Project..Think maybe we should meet up soon and bring together some of our ideas. When? Best, Indra
